Xinghai Square is the biggest square in Asia and it is built for Hong Kong’s return to China. The Having White Marble is the biggest one in China and it is 19.9meters long and its diameter is 1.997m. Nine dragons on the Having White Marble mean the nine states. Xinghai Square faces ocean and it makes people broaden their mind. It is surrounded by musical spring and nine different tripods saying “Long live the great unity of the Chinese nation”. It means one word is as heavy as nine tripods. In the north of the center is Xinghai Exhibition center. It is a symbolic building in Dalian and Dalian international Fashion Show, Fireworks Festival, trade fair are all held here. It is lively all the year round. Dalian Shell Museum is located in the south east of Xinghai Square and it has the most exhibits in Asia.
