Three Gorges Dam Site is the largest hydropower project in the world, it belongs to the central part of Xiling Dam, and located in Sandou Meadow which is in Yichang city, Hubei Province. It is about 38 kilometers to Gezhouba Water Control Poject downstream, and is one of the first national 5A scenic spots. When the dam is completed, a reservoir of 600 kilometers arises, and a rare scenic spot turns up. Three Gorges Dam Site is divided into 5 parts of 15.28 square kilometers: Sanxia Exhibition Hall, Jar Ridge Garden, 185 Garden, Dam-near Garden, and Memorial Garden for river closure. The scenic spot is based on the world's largest water control project-Sanxia Dam, and shows the culture of engineering and water conservancy all-directionally. Jar Ridge viewing platform is the commanding point of three gorges dam site. When you reach the Jar Ridge, you could look afar to the beautiful scenery of Three Gorges Dam.
