Suzhou Museum is China's local history museum of art. The new architecture and accompanied Zhongwangfu characters (v.) the Suzhou Museum. Zhongwangfu is 7500 square meter and the main part is on the first floor. Some parts of it are on the second floor such as central hall and western exhibition hall. The old Zhongwangfu architecture is also a part of the new site of Suzhou Museum. It is a modern architecture, old architecture and the landscape garden is a body of a comprehensive museum. The design of Suzhou Museum combines with traditional style of Suzhou architecture putting the museum among gardens. So it is more coordinated with the environment around it. The courtyard is the extension and modern version of the zhuozheng Garden architecture which is in the north of it. Tourists were free of charge from on May 18th in 2008. So, they can get the tickets to enter to visit the Suzhou Museum.
