Tiger Hill is situated in the northwestern suburbs of the Suzhou City and is 5km far from the center of the city. It is said that in the Spring and Autumn Dynasty, Wuwangfuchai buried his father here and a tiger appeared in three days. So it is called Tiger Hill. Its height is about 36m and there are many old trees. The mountains are not big but having much scenery. Because of its elegant scenery and long history, it shares the reputation of “No.1scenery in Wu”. Yunyan Temple and Sword pool are the most famous here. Towering Yunyan Temple has a thousand of history and is ranked the second Leaning Tower in the world. It is gorgeous and has already been a symbol of Ancient Suzhou. Wanjing Mountain which is located in the east of the Tiger Hill owns the essence of the scenery of the Su, moreover, it is so beautiful as someone has painted it. Tiger Hill is also a main meeting place in Suzhou. According to the history, this place held the spring art show to present the charming flowers such as, peony, tulip, Belgium rhododendron and lily. Tiger Hill shows graceful pictures of the combination of the cultural resources and natural landscape. It is a valuable treasure which includes mountain, water and history.
