Chengde Little Potala Palace is a temple of Putuozongcheng and it is called Little Potala Palace. It is located in the north of the lion ditch in Chengde city in Hebei province. It is in the north of the Summer Resort and in the west of “the temple of Xuchengfushou”. It occupies 22million square meters. Moreover, it is the biggest one among 8temples and also a architecture which has special value of art. Little Potala Palace was built for celebrating Qianlong’s 60th birthday and his mother’s 80th birthday. “putuozongcheng” is a Chinese name of potala. It is natural and usually changes. It was built based on the Chinese traditional architecture combined with the Zang characteristic. It is a typical one which has combined Chinese and Zang Architectures.
