Green Lake Park is located at the feet of Luofeng Mountain in Kunming.The Green Lake is like a emerald of Kunming. Green Lake Park is divided into 5 parts by Ruandi, which is a dyke. Center island is houses many Qing Dynasty style buildings like center kiosk and guanyulou. Shuiyuxuan and Jinyu Island are at the southeast part while northeast is Bamboo Island and Jiulong Pond. Whats interesting is every year, thousands of black-headed gulls will come and spend winter in Green lake because in winter, weather is always mild and Kunming people love these birds. each winter tourists feeding the birds in green lake is also a a famous sight in Kunming.
