The height of Jiuzhai Valley is about 1900~3100 meters. It has a very wet climate.In spring, the temperature is low. The average temperature is 9°C ~18°C. Jiuzhai Valley Best Routes:

One-day tour: in the morning, visit Shuzhneg Qunhai Ditch where you can see the beautiful lakes, fall and sunrise. Have lunch at Luorilang Hotel. In the afternoon, visit Rizhe Ditch, Swan Sea, Fancao Sea, and Hanging Spring. On the way back, you can see the sunset in Pearl Beach. At night you can stay at Goukou or go to Huanglong Temple.

Two-day tour: in the morning of the first day, visit Shuzheng Qunhai Ditch. Have lunch at Shuzheng Village. In the afternoon, visit Shuzheng Fall, Tiger Sea, and Rhinoceros Sea. In the morning of the second day, visit Rizhe Ditch, Pearl Beach, Jinling Sea, Wuhua Sea and Panda Sea. And then return to Luorilang Fall. In the afternoon, visit Zhezhawa Ditch and Long Sea. At night live at Goukou or go to Huanglong temple.

Three-day tour: you have enough time, visit Jiuzhai Valley. The first day, visit Shuzheng Qunhai Ditch and ride horse on the ancient horse lane of Zharu Temple. Jiuzhai Valley Tickets:

In tourism season, from April 1st to November 15th, the entrance ticket of Jiuzhai Valley is 220 Yuan/person. During the rest year, the entrance ticket only costs 80 Yuan/person. And the tour bus costs 90 Yuan in tourism season, 80 Yuan the rest of the year. Children with height below 1.3 meters are free of charge.

How to get to Jiuzhai Valley:

1. You could take Jiuzhai Loop Line from Chengdu to Jiuzhai Valley. It takes about 8 hours.

2. At the new South Gate Tour Bus Station in Chengdu, you could take special tour bus to Jiuzhai Valley. It starts at 8 a.m. every day. In the West Gate Bus Station, you could take coach to Jiuzhai Valley and Huanglong. It starts at 7:30 a.m. every day. And it also has night bus to get there.

3. Start from Mianyang, you could choose to get Jiuzhai Valley by bus or by air. But there is only one flight every day.

4. Start from Leishan, every Thursday and Sunday also have bus go to Jiuzhai Valley at 8:30.

Tips:

1. In the Jiuzhai Valley scenic spot, you could only take the special tour bus.

2. You’d better join in package tour so that your accommodation and safety will be guaranteed.

3. As Jiuzhai Valley is situated at high altitude, you should avoid strenuous exercise and too much drinking. Eat more vegetables and fruit. Elderlypeople would better not go there. People who have high blood pressure, coronary heart disease and other heart conditions are also not fit to go there.

4. The ultraviolet radiation is very strong in Jiuzhai Valley. If you will stay long hours outdoors, you’d better put on your sun cap and wear sunscreen cream to protect your skin.

5. Since the temperature difference between day and night is large, you’d better bring enough clothes to stay warm and medicine in case.
