Nanjing is affected by many climate zones which results to the weather being complicated due to its consistency. In the summer time, Nanjing, in correspondence to two other cities Wuhan and Chongqing, has long been known as “the Thee Hot Pot”. This is due to the low pressure and the exceeded high temperatures and if one has too much exposure to the sunshine it can lead to fatalities. However, the short springsare very peaceful with sunny days just before the rainy season arrives which makes everything sticky. The weather in Autumn is cool and dry, which is quite enjoyable.

Qinhuai River is well known for its charm dating from the remote time, when all Qinhuailadies of the night contributed to the scandalous nature of this location.This is also the place where Zhang Yimou’s greatest shoot Jīn LíngShí Sān Chaī happened.
