Activities:

Arrive in Lhasa (3650m). On our way to hotel, we can enjoy the heart-beating highland view along this Yarlong Tsangpo river (the longest river in Tibet). Get full rest for acclimatization. 

Destinations: Sightseeing in Lhasa

Activities:

Today we will visit the highest palace in the world— Potala Palace which is the Dalai Lama's winter palace. It locates on the red hill, a good viewing point in Lhasa. In the afternoon, we go to the renowned Jokhang Temple which will provide us one of your first sights of devout Tibetans. In the temple we will see the glistening Sakyamuni statue which is considered as Tibetan Buddhism's rarity. After then, stroll around the bustling Barkhor Street.

Destinations: Lhasa to Leten

Activities:

 Drive to Tsurpu Monastery ( 4480 m . 70 km from Lhasa ). Starting the tour by Yak back or trek to Leten ( 5000 m，3hrs), overnight camp.

Destinations: Leten to Bartso

Activities:

By Yak back to Bartso, crossing the Lhasar pass ( 5300 m) and holy Buddhist way – Damachen Nyingtri, overnight camp.  （4hrs）

Destinations: Bartso to Dorjeling Nunnery

Activities:

 By Yak back to Dorjeling Nunnery. Wonderful view on Nyenchen Tanglaha Peak ( 7162 m),overnight camp.   (5 hrs)

Destinations: Dorjeling Nunnery to Yangpachen Monastery

Activities:

By Yak back to Yangpachen Monastery, end of the Yak back tour here. Take the horse back from here to  Yangpachen hot spring, have a bath in the spring pool there. Over night camp  (4hrs)

Destinations: Yangpachen Monastery to Papu village

Activities:

 By horse back to Papu village, today we will go through the real grass land, and we will cross many pasture lands of Tibetan nomads living area, and can visit their tents or houses, especially can see how are their real life. Over night Camp.

Destinations: Papu village to Dirang

Activities:

By horse back tour to Dirang or near by, today we will go through the food of the famous holy Mt Nyenchen Thangla (7162m),and cross a high pass with 5450 M. Over night Camp.

Destinations: Dirang-Tashi Dor island-Namtso Lake

Activities:

By horse back trip to Tashi Dor island, today is last day by horse back tour, we will have a nice view of Namtso lake and Nyenchen Tanglha Mt, with typical view of Tibetan plateau pasture lands, and can taste real Changtang nomads life here. End the hard horse back tour in Tashi Dor. Over night Camp or guethouse.

Destinations: Namtso Lake to Lhasa

Activities:

Morning visit the Tashi Dor hermitage, hike aroud the island, then take the bus return to Lhasa. Over night hotel.

Destinations: Sightseeing in Lhasa

Activities:

Morning time will be spent in Dreung Monastery, the Drepung monastery was built in 1416, which belongs to be the biggest monastery among the six monasteries of the Gelukpa sect. Later，visit Norbulinka which is Dalai Lama's summer palace.
In the afternoon, we will go to visit the Sera monastery where lively lama debating will be seen (except Sundays). This is very interesting. Many lamas sitting or standing in the yard debate a certain topic their teacher has given.
