2Itinerary
- Your private English-speaking guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel around 9am.

- Visit the Yungang Grottoes. The three main sites in China that are famous for their stone sculpture are Dunhuang, Longmen and Yungang. Among these, the Yungang grottoes are considered number one among them, for their tremendous size, ancient history, and relatively complete state of preservation. Chinese lunch will be arranged close to the Grottoes.
- After lunch you will be transferred to Hanging Temple. The temple stands at the foot of Mt. Hengshan, 5 kilometers (3 miles) south of Hunyuan County, and 65 kilometers (40 miles) from downtown Datong City. Since it hangs on the west cliff of Jinxia Gorge more than 50 meters above the ground, it is called Hanging Temple. How could a building like this withstand the winds and storms of so many years? Hanging Temple is an architectural wonder. A unique mechanical theory was applied to building the framework. Crossbeams were half-inserted into the rock as the foundation, while the rock in back became its support. Seen from below, Hanging Temple appears to be a tumble-down castle in the air. Inside, Hanging Temple provides the same scene as other temples.

- "Unforgettable"
- It was the first family tour for my family. And during the holiday, my family visited the Datong. Both of my son and my wife were fascinated by the gorgeous stones and finally they didn’t want to come back home. And China Travel Depot is satisfying. The guide leaded us to visit many interesting places and told us stories about them. My son liked the story most. And I think the food was delicious and we got a great memory. If we go to trip next time, we also choose China Travel Depot.

- "good place"
- My mom was sick and I wanted to give a surprise to her. I telephoned to China Travel Depot and he helped me a lot. He suggested that I should go Datong with my mom. He said that my mom should like this tour. Fortunately, she did enjoy this tour. We visited a lot of Grottoes and took many pictures. My mom especially enjoyed the food in Datong. She said the Chinese food was really delicious. I think so. When we return home, I found that my mom was better and better.

- "Wonderful"
- I have though for a long time that how to propose to my girlfriend. Although there are many beautiful places in the world, I have chosen China, especially Datong. I have planned all and prepared a ring to propose to my girlfriend. I asked our guide to help me. And he was very kind and patient. He helped me to find the restaurants and some special shops. When we arrived at Datong, my girlfriend was exciting and happy. And finally she said yes! I couldn’t forget this tour forever and thank you very much, China Travel Depot!

- Can we be picked up at the airport arriving from Beijing at 8 20 and back to Airport in thé evening.
- To people arrving from beijing in the morning and then flying to shanghai in the evening. Visit of Yungang caves and the Hanging Temples.
Date 18 October. What would the cost be please.

We would like to pick you up at the Datong airprot on 08:20 and then to visit the Yungang caves and the Hanging Temples. And transfer bakc to the
Datong airprot after the tour. And the additional airprot tranfer USD35 per person will be added.

- I will arrive in Datong by flight from Beijing at 8.20 in the morning. Is it possible to start this 4 days trip customized in the same arrival day or I need to start the trip the day after?
