Plaza Royale Furongguo Changsha, a new international five-star hotel invested in by Hunan Furongguo Corporation and managed by Howard Johnson International, has had its soft opening.
The 29-story, 316-room hotel is situated in the Changsha central business district on the intersection of Furong Road and Renmin Road. It is close to the historical Tianxin pavilion, with views of Yuelu Mountain and Juzi Island, and is within walking distance of Huangxing Road Shopping Center, Dongtang Business District, Houjiatang Business District, and Helong Stadium. The property is an eight minute drive from the railway station and 30 minutes from Changsha International Airport by car.
The guestrooms feature LCD flat-screen TV with over 60 satellite channels, high-speed Internet connection, individual rainforest showers, and in-room safes. Three executive floors and the Royale Lounge provide butler service, daily complimentary breakfast, all-day refreshments, and evening cocktails.
Plaza Royale Furongguo Changsha has two restaurants and two bars including the Royale Cafe for all day dining, the Lobby Lounge, the Tea House serving a selection of premium Chinese teas, and a Chinese restaurant serving Xiang and Cantonese cuisine in its dining hall and 28 private dining suites.
