Not a 4 star hotel by any means

This hotel is not too far from the Jiuzhaigou main entrance, a leisure walk of about 15 minutes on a well paved road is all one needs to arrive at the front entrance. The hotel service is reasonable similar to most Chinese hotels which are not very accommodating. The hotel amenities such as air conditioning does not exist during the month that we were there. The temperature was a it warm and the room was warm even though our room is on the second of three floors. When we phoned the front desk to ask for them to fix the air conditioning unit. They immediately sent their hotel maintenance folks to our room and explained that the hotel policy is not to turn the central air conditioning on during certain times of the year and June is one of those time. The maintenance person was polite but he was not able to do anything to help us, except to request us to open the window. The noise from the street was somewhat annoying as a result. Therefore this hotel should not be rated a 4-star. It is between a 2 and no more than a 3-star hotel. I would not advice those of us who are used to stay at real 4 star hotel to choose this one. Definitely I will not stay here again if I do come to visit Jiuzhaigou
