2Itinerary
- Shaoxing is a quiet, relaxed, waterside town, the hometown of famous Shaoxing Rice Wine and the Chinese Yue Opera.
- Your tour guide will pick you up around 7 to 8am at your hotel lobby.
- As a local special way of traveling in the waterway, you will follow the custom to have a lake cruise in the inner river of the town by Black Awning Boat, which is also named as “Chinese Gondolas”.
- Along the river, you will see the local people’s style of living and the bustling local bazaar. Shen Garden is Chinese classical garden, where the poet Lu You and his wife Tang Wan found its expression for their tragic love.
- Then, you will have a typical Chinese meal at local restanrante.
- The rest of the afternoon time, you will get a close touch to Chinese Calligraphy culture in Lanting Pavilion.
- Around 4 to 5PM, our tour guide will drop you off at your hotel lobby.
- Notice：Please notice the size of this group tour should be at least 5 people, if you make the reservation less than 5 persons, please don't make the payment right now and wait for our further confirmation to make the payment.

- "Shaoxing is more beautiful than I’ve expected."
- Shaoxing is more beautiful than I’ve expected. We went to Shen Garden and Lanting Pavilion, both of which displays the amazing culture and the delicate scenic beauty of southern Chinese cities. It’s a pleasant experience to go sightseeing on a boat. I saw the local life of Shapxing people. The city makes me calm and happy. I love the trip. It’s totally worth it!

- "i fell in love with the city"
- One of my Chinese friends advised me to visit Shaoxing, and it turned out he was right! I felt in love with this city when I took a Wupeng Boat along the river that runs through the city. I saw the houses of the local people, and I saw the many delicate bridges and the natural beauty along the river. Everything seemed so calm and delicate. After that, I went to Shen Garden and Lanting Pavilion, both showing the wonderful amazing culture of China. Other old cities and towns in China are top on my traveling list, because they are really very appealing.

- "I will come back again!"
- I think the trip was good value for money. My cousin and I had a wonderful experience there in Shaoxing. That city was like a hidden treasure for foreign visitors, since they have no idea how a small southern city can be more interesting than some more known big cities. Thanks to the wise advice from your staff, we were able to visit this city and totally enjoyed it. We went to Lanting Pavilion and saw the unbelievable calligraphy works; at Shen Garden, we learnt the sad love story of a famous Chinese poet; we saw the distinctive buildings and lifestyle of the local people when taking the boat cruise…I will come back again!
