Reporter got the news from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport that the airport started 72 hours visa-free international transit service. The transit passengers can get coupons, and more service, such as private lounge and Direct Bus for attractions in Chengdu.

It is known that Chengdu Airport would offer 2 kinds of coupons (50 yuan of consumption coupon and 80 yuan of hotel voucher) to choose for the passengers who take trains from Chongqing or flights from other cities to Chengdu airport, and will transit from Chengdu to London, Soul, Tokyo, Bangkok, Bombay, Hanoi, Doha, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Karachi, Melbourne, Kathmandu, Frankfurt, Abu Dhabi and Amsterdam in 72hours.

Meanwhile, the Airport built a functional transit lounge in T1 International Departure Hall, which can offer lounge, shower and wifi services. It also set a pick-up point between Gate 8 T1 and Gate9 T2, where transit passengers can take the battery vehicles for free by showing the boarding pass of two trips. Besides, the airport launched the scenic train service. International transit passengers and 72 hour visa-free transit visitors can enjoy this service at International transit service points on the first floor of T1 and T2. So that they can visit Houwuci Museum, Jinli, Dujiangyan, Qingshan mountain, Chengdu Research Base of Giant panda Breeding, Kuanzhai Alley, Jinsha Ruins Museum, Du Fu’s thatched cottage, Sanxingdui and so on.
