Jietai Temple, located in Mentougou district Beijing, was built in A.D.622. Every year, Jietai Temple holds New Year’s bell pray. The 2014 New Year’s Bell Pray will be hold in Jietai Temple from 22:00 31st Dec 2013 to 02:00 1st Jan 2014.
During the New Year’s bell pray, tourists could not only enjoy the night view of Jietai Temple, ring the bell for free, but also taste the Suzhai (vegetarian food of temple) and get free wishing-red tape to pray for family and friends. At the beginning of this activity, the monks will ring 108 bells.
