"nice guide, enjoyable tour"
We eventually got to the high portion of the Mutianyu Great Wall. Given the hoards of people at all of the other sites we visited in Beijing, the solitude we found on this part of the wall was much appreciated. The Ming tombs were a nice place to know and visit. You can see how Chinese honor their ancient rulers. Our guide Susan was excellent and provided us not only with information about the sites we were visiting, but also about life in China in general. Susan’s English was very good which made it easy to visit with her. We liked her easy going manner.

"pretty interesting tour"
I think the Ming tombs were pretty interesting at least to me. Perhaps our guide was very good in explaining the history and story behind the Emperor’s tomb. It’s very cooling underground and amazing to see how deep the “underground palace” was dug and built during the ancient days. In the afternoon, we headed for Mutianyu. We walked far enough to get to the part of the wall that hasn’t been restored. At that part of the wall, we were virtually the only people there. A totally different experience.

"good"
The tour was unforgettable. The weather was perfect with sunshine and breeze. The trees in the forest were flowering. We spent probably two hours walking on the wall. We took the cable car up to the higher portion. This is one of my favorite views of the Great Wall. I have seen it in many seasons from snow to total green. Food & service has been impressive. Joanna is very organised and has a good sense of responsibility. She went out of her way to help us.

"good"
The organization of the tour was reasonable. It is hard to describe the immensity of this wall unless you actually experience it personally. Spectacular views! We took the cable car up to the 14th station. From there try to walk until the 21st station. The last portion of the wall is quite steep but it was well worth the labor once you get there. You get a great birds-eye view of the wall if you make it that far. This portion of the wall has less people. I think Mutianyu is more interesting than the Ming tombs.

"i had a great day"
My Chinese friend advised me that if I’d like to visit the Great Wall, then the Mutianyu section was the best choice. I also think so after the tour. Despite the hundreds of buses that visit daily, the Great Wall at Mutianyu is not as crowded as the nearby Badaling or Juyongguan sections of the Wall. Standing on the Wall, I found myself alone with only the sound of the wind to keep me company. Guides and lunch, all exceeded my expectation. I really had a great day!

"happy day!"
It was a short but happy day! Enough time for us to visit the Ming tomb and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Great Wall. The quality of the food was very good. Tour guides were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We never had trouble understanding the language and could even practice a little Chinese. I think they played a big role in making the trip an unforgettable experience. The car was clean and spacious and there were always bottles of water available.

"We had a great day!"
We had a great day! I was especially impressed by the beautiful scenery of Mutianyu Great Wall. It is advised to take the cable car up to the top of the Great Wall. Because it’s time-consuming and you’ll feel very tired if you climbe it yourself. Save the energy to enjoy the landscape. The meal was excellent, the restaurant well chosen. The guide was speaking good English and was sufficiently knowledgeable to answer most of our queries. Thank you very much—ChinaTravelDepot!

"The tour completely exceeded my expectations."
The tour completely exceeded my expectations. I was looking forward to seeing the Great Wall, but did not know we would also see so many factories and learn about the history of Beijing from David. I loved the explanation of the Chinese characters. His English was excellent. He had a thorough answer to every question I had. We were nervous about lunch, but there was plenty of variety. David was excellent—the tour was amazing! I would highly recommend it to my friends.

"A great trip!"
I had a life long dream to come to China and thanks to your company it came true eventually. And I had the BEST time. Guides of Underground Palace and the Great Wall were very professional and helpful. The view from the Great Wall was amazing, especially in the spring when it became warmer and warmer. The driver was confident and always on time. He always reminded us of taking water with us when we left for a visit. I have recommended your company to everyone who asks me about my trip.

"Thanks for such a great adventure!"
I think the arrangement of our tour is reasonable. We visited Underground Palace of Ming Dynasty, Mutianyu section of the Great Wall and jade, silk factory. We all enjoyed the lunch. Both the environment and service of the restaurant fully met our expectations. We are absolutely satisfied with the service attitude of the driver and the condition of the car. I thought our tour guide was very friendly, informative, and flexible! David Wang easily understand all our likes/dislikes and adapted to them. Thanks for such a great adventure!
