"Enough water and comfortable shoes."
According to our guide, the best season to visit Beijing is fall. There are lots of steps…so mind you: enough water and comfortable shoes. The bottles of water which are sold by the local shops are more expensive. If you want to save money, you can take water with you.

"Hundreds of metres of wall, all to ourselves."
Breathtaking scenery! Perfect weather! The Wall spreads across the Mountains. There are fewer tourists than other openings in Beijing, which is out of my expectation. Walking away from the top, we find ourselves with hundreds of metres of wall, all to ourselves.

"An amazing feel of engineering!"
We have only a half day here, but I have to say “an amazing feel of engineering!” We take the cab up, which helps us save time and energy. And I highly recommend the toboggan ride back down the mountain. Our guide is friendly and knowledgeable.

"Unlike Badaling , no crowds."
We took more than an hour to get the Great Wall. Unlike Badaling (we heard lots of comments of crowds), there were no crowds. So all of us enjoyed this experience! My friends took some wonderful photos. The driver was very skillful though Beijing was filled with cars. Thank you for your arrangement.

"Worth a visiting."
Mutianyu Great Wall, it is not very famous like Badaling, but it worth a visiting. I love seeing the scenery at the top of the wall. With small stairs, it is not very difficult for visitors to climb, even for children. No matter the seasons you visit there, you will be wowed.

"Very Impressive~"
Great Wall, a must see when you travel to Beijing. Built in the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, it is more than 600 years old. The slope is very high and steep. I wonder how the workers in the past brought the big stones and ran up and down.

Hi Carol,
Our tour was wonderful!!! I felt like we visited the top sights in China and we did it thoroughly. The guides in this city each had their own personalities and I enjoyed each of them very much. The attractions were beautiful and every meal offered a huge selection and exceptional service. I would gladly recommend China Travel Depot to anyone wanting to visit China! From the very first question until the last day, the service was impeccable. Quick response and explanations of all inquiries. Excellent! Thank you for your service and hard work! :)

Dear Luis,

My son and I had a wonderful time in China. We loved your Country, your culture and your people. The guides you selected for us were great, and we gave each of them high grades on the sheets they asked us to complete for them. They were not only kind and courteous, but very knowledgeable and well-informed.

Our only regret was that we needed more time to fully explore the sites and places we visited- but of course that means we will likely return again in the future to visit the places we were unable to visit on this trip.

Thank you so much for all your efforts on our behalf.

Sincerely,

Dear Luis,
Thank you for your smart advise, and I enjoyed my half day at Mutianyu very much. The scenery and the food there were great. It was similar to the Badaling, but less people.

Your bus was punctual and comfortable. The driver was skillful, and we got there in a short time. The traffic was not crowed. Each guide was outstanding! They were flexible, gracious, and always on time and ready to go. I have to say Beijing is a really wonderful places and I want to spend more time here and travel other parts of this city. I took a lot of pics, and wants to share with my friends.

Sincerely,

That day i conquered the Great Wall.

We went on this tour to the Mutianyu Great Wall and Ming Tombs. We were lucky to see The Wall without too much tourists and sometimes we were alone on the wall part. 2 hours we had for the wall was little bit short. It was necessary to take cable car to the top, otherwise we would just clime up and have no time for the Great Wall. So, be ready to pay addtional 50 RMB for the cable car to the top and back.

The stop at Jade Carvig Factory was interesting. On the other hand, the silk museum is just about shopping. We could use the time better in Ming Tombs or on the Great wall.

Ming Tomb was interesting and we had enough time to see all important. We visit only one from 3 accessible tombs, but the most attractive one with the underground palace.
overall speaking, this was a great tour we ever made in china, thanks to the organizer—china travel depot.
