Riding around the Tiananmen Square is a brand new experience for me, this square is full of tourists and the citizens from Beijing who are enjoying their leisure time, in 60 years this square has turn from the symbol of power, a new rising country to a place that provides recreation to the native people. The 2 LED screen are keeping showing the promotion of the places, scenerys and the minority nationalities of China. Everyone can tell that this country has a bright future, at least I can ensure that from the smiles I saw from our tour guide and the people who saw we bunch of foreign people raceing on the bicycle.

Riding a bike made me feel I was just finish the dinner and went to a friend lives in the nearby community, but this time I am in Beijing, haha. I got no idea who is the guy figuring out this idea of tour package but I think he did good job. Riding in the hutongs is pretty interesting, especially when you ran into the someone did the same thing...but she may be a Chinese woman that of over 50 years old. And you will ride all the way despite the surprising look on her face, that's more than interesting.

"awesome"
Really awesome, I still remember when I was young there is a song called there are one or five million bikes in Beijing or even more? I've never imaged myself could be part of them! This makes me feel like I'm also a part of this mysterious city. Especially when I ride the bike around the park and see people hanging out, playing chess and what they call Mahjong, I feel like I am not a stranger, also a citizen in Beijing. Well, I may really consider it, since this city is huge, is full of the international enterprises. At that time I will buy my own bike and ride it all the way to work.

Hello James,
We have chosen a Small Group tour precisely in order to be in an international mixed group. We enjoyed to stay with people coming from so different countries like Guatemala, USA, Turkey, Kirgizstan, Myanmar and Switzerland. Also the differences in ages and professional background made the relations very interesting.

We were very impressed to see how China has progressed and how developed the cities are. Sometimes we had the feeling not to be in China (especially in cities like Beijing and Shanghai) but in some western country. It was a funny tour.

All the best,

Dear Julia,

Thank you so much for keeping in touch and for your kind greetings.

I have been travelling again on business and just returned from Paris. BUT … Europe doesn't compare to the extraordinary sites, sounds and learnings that I experienced in Bejing that you so thoughtfully planned for me. Everything worked out exceedingly well, and I had the opportunity to do and see many things at just the NY pace to which I am accustomed.

I am most grateful to you and your outstanding staff. The journey was an exciting joy from start to finish, and one of the highlights for me of the year 2011. I look forward to travelling with China Travel Depot again.

With appreciation and warmest best wishes,

Dear James,

I would like to thank you for helping us organize our Beijing tour. We had a great time. This will truly be an unforgettable trip!

We began our trip at the East Imperial City Wall Relics Park and cycled along the moat to the Fobidden City, park the bikes and walked into the huge Palace preserved well and completely. Then got on the bike and cycled Tian An Men Square to the Chinese "White House" (which is, of course, RED), we cycled along the Moat of Forbidden city to Beihai park and Temple of heaven. Onward to Hutongs area, Pass through hutongs and commercial roads alongside Beijing locals on the way to the Drum and Bell Towers. Along the way, our guide shared us great stories and historical facts and local life as well. It’s really a good way to study China and Chinese culture.

thank you again for everything!

Beast regards,

Dear Carol,

This trip was an amazingly, well organized holiday that we enjoyed tremendously. We definitely were very happy with the arrangements made by you and we greatly enjoyed our holiday. Because we did not have to rely on anybody else (like in a group tour) we had one of the most comfortable and enjoyable holidays we have had.

The biking made us feel great! We can enjoy the scenery and do exercises at the same time.

Our guide was quite in tune with us and we all enjoyed some jokes whilst we moved from place to place. He offered just the right amount of information without overwhelming us and readily gave more information as we asked. He was very attentive to the well being of our group and kept asking if we felt OK.

Thank you very much to you and your colleagues for the wonderful arrangements. We had a fabulous time on the trip and look forward to visiting China again very soon!

Best Regards,
