Dear James,
Thank you so much for the tour. Cornell and I had a really great time! We feel that the value was over and above the price. Thanks again!
Under your help and the arrangement of china travel depot, we two had a great travel in china. During our 12 days’ stay, we not only have experienced the beautiful landscape of china, but also got a deep impression of Chinese culture, which we would like to share with you and our friends here.
Our tour started from Beijing, the capital of china, a city of both old and new - an ancient capital with some fantastic historical sites and a bustling modern metropolis hosting Olympics successfully. Here we visited Tian'anmen Square, the world's largest public square first , then The Forbidden City, its majesty and elegance shocked me so much, we also visited the Temple of Heaven, where the Emperors prayed for good harvests and worshipped God of Heaven.
The second stop of our tour is shanghai, the most prosperous city in china and the renowned international metropolis. During my stay in Shanghai, I followed the arrangement by china travel depot and visited Huangpu River Bund to view modern constructions and Climbed up to Oriental Pearl Tower to enjoy panorama view of the metropolis, the perfect blend of cultures, the modern and the traditional, and the western and the oriental. New skyscrapers and old Shikumen lanes together impressed a lot. Also I Visited the Shanghai Museum, as we all know that shanghai had been a colonial hub in china's modern history, and in the museum I really felt the changes of history. Marvelous!
Then we went to xi’an, before our departure, we only knew that it’s an ancient capital with 13 dynasties, and during our visit there, we observed the Terra-Cotta Warrior Corps with our own eyes, it’s really unbelievable, because it’s a masterpiece 2000 years ago.
In Guilin, we witnessed the splendid scenery of Li River, “East or west,Guilin scenery is best”, you can believe it only you see it with your own eyes.
Our last destination was Guangzhou and Hongkong, with their tropical landscapes, they are very different from those of north china, in Guangzhou, we tasted the canton food, it’s very delicious, and in Hongkong we could feel a different atmosphere of culture, both British and Chinese, the Chinatown features this a lot.
Above the marvelous trip, we also want to say thanks to china travel depot, for their considerate and professional service, without it we couldn’t achieve so much, we would like to recommend it to our friends when they want to travel in china.
Best rgds,
Maggie
