I only took my enjoying part, and the others were all done by your.

As your drivers' good work, I didn't feel nervous for arriving at a stranger place. I liked the wide variety and selection of different foods. Also, not having every single meal included was a good idea so we could try whatever dishes we wanted to on our own, and at our convenience.

Datong and Pingyao are two historic cities, and there are a lot of tour resources. I had the choice of taking an electric car ride to and fro the Grotto and the entrance - RMB 10 each way, RMB 15 return. I recommend just taking the ride 1 way, because as you walk to enjoy the caves, you'd already cover 1/3 to 1/2 of the distance.
