Hi Luis,
I am honored to give a response to your tour package. What I want to say is excellent. Great cultural experience but also quite comfortable. Most meals were pretty huge though. My favorite meal from my time in China was at the Fortune Long Beijing Bean Sauce Noodles. Definitely some of the best Chinese foods I've ever had but the portions were very very big.
In Beijing, we enjoyed the common tourist attractions. And then, I flied to Urumqi, Kashga, and Dunhuang, where were the emphasis of this tour. Kashga is the pearl of the Ancient Silk Road. We can see some ancient ruins in this place. The Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes was famous and now I know why. In Shanghai, the Jade Buddha Temple impressed me much, and that was different from the Buddhism in Tibet.
The food was outstanding and I wish I could have some more Kung Pao chicken this week -I ordered that before climbing the great wall. I was traveling alone and never felt unsafe.
