Dear Carol,
My wife and I just got back from Guilin last night. Thanks for your arrangement on our tours.
We had a tremendous time on our trip to China, with Guilin being a very interesting city, visiting Ethnic Tribes in Longsheng the highlight of the trip! The tribes is surrounded by luxuriant forests, the village houses the Red Yao people's community. The Yao Village has a special custom in that the men in the village often marry into and live in their bride's family. This tradition has passed down from generation to generation. Another attractive feature of the village is that the young people sing folk songs to attract their sweethearts. Every visitor who comes here will enjoy the hospitality of the local people and their angel-alike songs and shows. We took part in the traditional sporting activities, including propping the bamboo bars or playing tug of war with the elephant. We also appreciated the wonderful dances performed by those Red Yao girls with their long hair.
Our local guide was very good; he helped us out several times during our tour and was very good with the 2 kids we had traveling with us. We found his knowledge and English to a very high standard. We also found our driver very good. His driving was excellent and we all felt very safe with him. The van was always clean and we enjoyed the water that was on board the van.
My wife and I have been using the services of CTD for more than ten years. Once again, we find CTD is efficient, reliable and we can always trust them to organize trips and guides properly for us. Thank you for your wonderful guidance, help and services.
Sincerely,
Henry Evans,
