How fortunate we feel to have been able to take this brief tour with 9 wonderful people and very good tour guides and drivers. We were very pleased with the itinerary and accommodation. Your having the meal arrive at the table so quickly after getting to a restaurant was an excellent way to conserve time for visiting attractions. The downside of this was that many meals were very similar and eating became a little monotonous.Tashilhunpo Monastery is a famous temple in Tibet. Most of the people here believe in Buddhism. We went to Shigatse via Gyantse on the Southern Friendship Highway. The scenery along the road was great. I consider the best part of traveling in Tibet was on the road. The scenery was unique.
