We are back home in Melbourne, Australia on 5 June. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your China travel depot for putting together and organized the Chongqing Day Tour.

We started with a visit to the Goose Neck Park which provided a good view of the city and the famous Yangtze River. Looking out for a great mural of Yangtze River which showed the pre-dam water levels, the elevation marked signifying the displacement of the local population.

Then we took a walk to Ciqikou Old Street where we could see local shops, old wooden houses, old pier, tea houses, and local Sichuan street performance. Really interesting!

After lunch, we visited the Chongqing Zoo. It is the largest zoo in southwest China with over 1000 birds and 170 species of animals, and we saw pandas, golden hair monkeys and South China tigers—all belong to china only!
