Recently we participated in a Private Day Tours in Zhujiajiao village ,which was an important town in Shanghai for many years due to its capability of shipping trades in and out, using its manmade canals which join the Huangpu River.
This half day tour will gave us the opportunity to see the sights of this fantastic village and we were able to take a boat ride to view the picturesque houses and breathtaking views.

There were also two beautiful temples in the Zhujiajiao village which add to the culture and compliment the view. After sightseeing we visited a silk shop where we learned how silk is made and how it became a major industry in China. also we could buy silk clothes, rugs and accessories at a bargained price! Really a nice experience!!
