We had a great trip to China, thank you for the organization in each place we stayed.

Guilin was beautiful, everything went really well even though the weather was not so good. The hotel on the first night, the Osmathus hotel, we had to ask Paul the tourist guide to change our rooms as there was damp visible on the walls and the rooms smelt really bad. Once the rooms were swapped over everything was fine. Paul was our favourite tourist guide out of the 3 that we had, he made the children laugh with his jokes and was always recommending other/extra things for us to do.

When we got to Hong Kong, after our 11 hour journey on the train overnight, we were all obviously very tired and needed showers and to freshen up. The tourist guide took us straight on our tour and i had to tell her later that we needed to have lunch and that we wanted western food, she then took us to a Hainanese chicken rice place which was awful, not our idea of western food at all. Personally i was not impressed with the tourist guide in Hong Kong at all. She took us to the train station to get our train back to Guangzhou and just waved us goodbye without making sure we were on the right train or not, very poor, even though the others gave her a tip because we felt like we should.
Overall we have fond memories of our trip to China and if coming again would definitely send you an email to get a quote from you.
