Thank you for your recent message. Yes we had a pleasant journey back home and we have not stopped talking about our 4 days’ trip in Beijing since we came back. Everyone around us wants to know how it went and see some photos. There is so much to tell, we don't know where to start!

Yes we do plan to make a travelogue of the whole experience, including our son's wedding and a selection of the hundreds of photographs we took. But we have not managed to do it yet. I will send you a Picasa web link to some photos, together with a commentary on our trip, hopefully within the next month.

In the meantime, I can tell you that we were very impressed with the organization of the tour and all the guides and drivers. We certainly would recommend China Travel Depot to friends who may be planning a trip to China.

Now that we are home and experiencing torrential rain, we think back on our wonderful Chinese experience and the summer temperatures we enjoyed there.
