Dear James,

Just a quick note to say that we made it to Hong Kong without any problems and have been relaxing for the last five or six days. We'll head back to the states on Friday this week.

Our trip in Beijing was just about perfect. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Everyone was so nice and helpful and I believe that I had a chance to see lots of the "real" China, not just tourist sights. I especially enjoyed our drives through the ancient village because it gave me a chance to see how everyday Chinese people live and work.

When we get home and have a chance to download our 1200 or 1300 pictures, we'll be sending you some. I'm sure you don't have enough pictures of China. Well, thanks again for setting up this incredible journey for us. I'll certainly never forget it.
