During this wonderful trip, we visited many stunning attractions, like the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, etc. Here, I’d like to say traditional courtyard residences of Beijing City. Accompanied by our friendly guide, we took a short excursion by rickshaw around Hutong (narrow valleyways) where we could see many old courtyards. And we were lucky enough to experience the life of local people. They were very friendly and taught us how to make Jiaozi (dumpling) which tasted very delicious. Moreover, I want to share our happy time in Longsheng Terrace Rice Fields and some minority villages of Guilin where we experienced another kind of life which is much different from that of the north. China is a really big country with so many spacial local customs and culture.
