The trip is perfect to me. The image of China in my mind has nothing to do with desert or gobi or anything with the tough beauty. It should be like the rivery towns around Changjiang River. Among the three cities we traveled, I like Suzhou best. Not only because I study architecture in college and the city is full of magnificent gardens and buildings, but also because I’m a big fan of Chinese silk. You’ll never see better silk in the world, on weaving or on dyeing. I believe it must be the color of nature, showing in the way it’s supposed to be seen. I think every girl should come to Suzhou, where you’ll find your femaleness rediscovered.
