Guilin is famous for its mountains and waters, but the highlights for me were the Chinese caves. It was a new experience. Worth to see the ancient but still “alive” giant turtle, but I did not like the lights in the cave. They were not natural. Despite rainy, the cruise along the Li River was still awesome. I loved the bamboos along the riverbanks, just like blooming flowers (the guide told me that they were called phoenix bamboo). Many opportunities for photos. I would recommend it to my friends and family.
