2Itinerary
- Your private English-speaking guide and driver will pick you up from your Xining hotel.
- Then drive to Kokonor via Riyue mountain where is situated in Huangyuan County, Xining, Qinghai Province, China.
- Legend states that Princess Wencheng lost a mirror called Sun and Moon on Riyue Mountain that allowed her to see Xi'an, and that the Daotang River that flows near this mountain was born of her tears.
- This mountain separate Qinghai Province into a pastoral zone in the east and an agricultural zone in the west. arrive at Kokonor(Qinghai lake) walk on the small trail that lead to the lake ,if the weather is ok, we would riding on the lake, after lunch drive to the Jinyintan grassland which covers an area of 1100 square kilometers, situates 90 kilometers away from the provincial capital of Xining city, with mountains surrounded on the north and on the east, and Qinghai Lake borders on the west. Tibetans live on the grassland with their cattle and horses generations after generations, forming a typical pasture area of this boundless grassland like Hulun Buir Grassland, the best-preserved grassland in China.
- Jinyintan Grassland is divided into Jintan and Yintan grassland with the average altitude of 3200 meters. On the north grassland there blossoms golden flowers, hence the name Jintan, meaning golden grassland is endowed; while on the south grassland there grows silver flowers, thus Yintan, meaning silver grassland is given.,
- End tour and drive back to Xining hotel.
