The elevator lifted so fast, that's 50% of the reason I felt faint, the other 50% is the height-never thought I may stand on the 100th floor of something, the mist was all around but the scenery was still shocking, totally rocked my mind. I felt like I am superman or some other heroes, iron man is also an alternative. The floor in the middle is all transparent glass, although it's not like the Oriental Pearl Tower cuz a whole round of one floor on the tower is transparent, but this one is much higher! Maybe I could try next time...

From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. we could see different views of this city from the height of over 300 metres. There were a looot of people there...luckily, they all have good manners and behaviors. You should really take a breath when the lift is getting on...it's too fast, you may feel the ringing in the ears...anyway, the, sightseeing from the 100th floor was really splendid, the cars looked like toys...speaking of cars, did Optimus Prime jump from this building or the the Oriental Pearl Tower nearby? In the movie Transformer 2? I forgot that. But the oriental Pearl Tower is now under my feet. This feels good...

The Shanghai International Financial center is a miracle of human history...human being is a great race but a human will be looked so small on it...I can't help expecting the Shanghai Center...the beverages seems luxury in a low-key way, but the price in the bar is totally acceptable. This is a truly skyscraper, the numbers of the floor on the screen jumped so fast, I felt so nervous...a little boy standing near me seemed ok with that. Our tour guide is truly an outstanding man, no matter in doing his job or...fighting with the fear against height. It's my first time to be on the 100th floor of a building.

The MLT seems to be a scenic spot more than a transportation tool, well, it do has reasons, it is fast, it is steady, the highest speed once reached 410km/h , that's unbelievable, I thought at this speed it would be chaos outside the window, but it turned out to be...good! Our tour guide said the window we looked through has the function of delaying what we see...I don't understand, wow, that's mysterious. A lot of Chinese people choose this train to rush to the airport, the man sit behind me said it always takes more than one hour to take the subway from down town to the airport but on the MLV the time is only seven mins! There are calculagraphs on each gate to calculate the speed, we count together with the people from China, that's interesting.

Hello Julia,
Thank you very much for such a nice trip. Please see our comments below:Meals were excellent in general. Since days were full, at times, if no event scheduled after supper, it would have been nice to be able to have supper back at our hotel(buffet). This would have give us time for shower and relaxation. All guides were knowledgeable of the place and able to answer our questions.

All in all, we had a great day, and were very pleased. Our guide did her best to ensure that happened, and she succeeded. Please make sure she knows how much we enjoyed our day with her.Regards,

Dear Luis,

This is later than I would like to have written you, but I have been busy since I got home.

I just wanted to thank you so much for planning such a wonderful trip for Mark and me! It really was wonderful in every way.

Thank you also for going above and beyond when we had problems with the itinerary. Most importantly, it was wonderful for you to make up for the part of the tour we missed when our train was delayed.

Mark and I were so impressed with the kindness of the Chinese people everywhere we went.

All in all , we had a great experience in China and looking forward to coming back again and see something different. We really appreciate everything you did to help things run so smoothly.

Kind regards,

Hello Tom,
Thank you for your recommendation and the good advise. As you asked me to give a response to your service, and I am pleased with it.

I thought your tour organization was fantastic! Everything was top-notch from start to finish. From the polite and informative email exchanges, to the personal phone call the day before the tour from our guide, to the wonderful and extremely high value content of the tour itself, to our wonderful and personable guide, to the professional driver, and the nice lunch at a fine restaurant.

The whole tour gave me an impression of modern of Shanghai. The modern face of Shanghai was beautiful and shocking, which is no less than Big Apple and London.

I hope I can come back again and enjoy the service of China Travel Depot.

All the best,

My friend and I visited Shanghai last summer. Just like London, cut through by the Thames, Paris, decorated by the Seine River and Danube, cultivated by the Danube and many other international metropolises, Shanghai also has such a river, the Huangpu River. Since the river is kind of the symbol of the city and said to gather the best scenery of it, my friend and I put it as the first stop of our Shanghai tour.

Really, it’s worth visiting. The scenery there is so amazing. To the east of the river, we saw a modern Shanghai with so many skyscrapers, such as the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the Jinmao Tower, the Shanghai World Financial Center, etc. To its west, a historical Shanghai unveiled in front of us. We could see the western-style buildings standing one by one and shoulder by shoulder. It was said that they were left over from the colonial period of Shanghai and had a history of about 100 years. Although not as high as the skyscrapers opposite them, they were charming and attractive as well due to the unique styles and appearance. I liked them more than the skyscrapers. Maybe it was because they were more close to us.
