"come to taste culture"
I recommend this tour. It is a really destination to taste culture and exotic style. The only thing was that the weather was hot and dry as I went there in summer. I fest walking in Great Wall under sun was quite tired as there was no shadow at all.

"great wall is what it is said"
My family prepared this tour to china long time before; children were so excited to go to Great wall and Tombs, where they thought were mysterious places. After Xian and Chengdu we went to Beijing and chose this one day tour. Great Wall is what we expected most. It deserves “great”. My children love this trip, of course so do I.

"less shopping stop is better"
I heard from my friend that this tour has too much shopping stop. And I tried because the price is low. I went into these “museum” but didn’t buy anything. Just looking is enjoyable. However I do think actual time inside the tombs and Great wall was short.

"thank you"
This was my third time use this website. The schedule is rich but not tight. What’s make me want to recommend strongly this time is sincerely thanks. I lost my wallet with my passport inside in the bus. And I found it was disappeared until noon. My tour guide peter was so much kind and helpful. Thank you Pete.

"fantastic"
All the things were arranged well, in early morning a bus picked me and took one and half hour to Ming Tomb where 13 emperors were buried. There was a traffic jam but only a short way because we went to suburb. Ming Tomb was designed very interesting as all the things seem related to Fenshui(geomancy), from the location to the details in the room. Great wall is like what I know before, its fantastic.

"Nice"
Good trip! From time schedule to tour guide was well organized. As we went there in a small group of 6 people, nobody was late. We departed at early morning and as the road from hotel to Ming tombs was long I can had a nap in the bus. I quite recommend this trip.

"i appreciate this culture travel in China"
I like walking on the Great Wall, the shape of it is smoothly from one hill to another. There were many holes on the wall used to hold guns. Listening to the story and history was quite interesting. However I had to say shopping was scheduled too much, it made a wonderful trip less attractive and annoys us.

"go, it's much better than writen in the books"
I would like to recommend this tour to the Great Wall. It is truly a wonderful building. I had a walk with my family at the top of the highest part and we see the whole Great wall like a snake, or a dragon as Chinese people said. My daughter kept asking me how people living in the ancient time could do this and I was thinking of it too! Our tour guide told us this big deal project was totally made by labour. You can hardly believe it if you see. Even one piece of brick is large. Ming tomb is less interesting and you could only get into one underground room which stores the emperor’s coffin.

"If you would like a shopping tour with a side of culture, choose this....otherwise keep searching"
I'm disappointed to have to give this tour such a low rating as I was so excited about visiting the Great Wall and had a pleasant experience on another tour booked through this website, but unfortunately this tour did not meet my expectations and I am glad I only paid the discounted price. While I got to see and walk a section of the Great Wall and was happy with my time there, I felt that the whole tour was scheduled around stopping at various shopping destinations rather than being focused on the main attraction. As part of a small group (6 in total) and having stopped twice to experience 2 "museums" prior to the Great Wall, to be told we had only 60mins to climb, view, and descend (of which the climbing and descending took 40mins) we asked if it was possible to skip the last shopping stop on the tour which threw our guide into a tailspin, she was not impressed and clearly misunderstood our request, as she merely delayed the time we would stop at the last "museum" and then proceeded to abandon us after this stop because it was close to her home...with a Chinese driver who spoke no english...and asked because it was now rush hour did we really want to go back to our hotels?? well yes...and 2 hours later I eventually arrived!! Before taking this trip I noticed signs for 'no-shopping' tours and now that I understand what this means I would definitely recommend to avail of these....so you can marvel at the Great Wall without being pressured into jade statues/ceramic pots/silk covers along the way....and just as a PS I found the Ming Tombs a little boring, you cannot actually enter any tombs as they have not been excavated,so its merely a stop to see some shrines built on the site of the main tomb
