Shaolin Temple is located in Zhengzhou city in Henan province and it is the origin of Shaolin Kong-fu. In Ming dynasty Shaolin Temple was at the height of power and splendor but it fell into decay in Qing dynasty. There are many cultural relics in every palace in the temple. And the most valuable one is wall painting. The most famous one is “Thirteen monks save the Tang emperor” it is colorful and splendid showing high quality in Tang dynasty. The west of the Shaolin Temple is 300meters long and it has been a graveyard of chief monks. There are250 graves here. It is the biggest Tallinn in China and the towers have different sizes. They reflect the style of architectures in every dynasty and they are treasure houses of studying masonry and sculpture in ancient times.
