Shanxi New Era Hotel (Shanxi Xin Jiyuan Dajiudian), refurbished in 2007, is located in the heart of Taiyuan’s commercial, entertainment, tourism and education district. It is within 500 meters of the government building of Shanxi province and Qinxian Jie, the most prosperous street in the city, 3 minute's drive from expressway entrance and a 5 minute drive from long-distance bus station.
All the guest rooms are installed with broadband Internet access provided free of charge and guests can also enjoy a free breakfast (each worth more than 30 RMB). In addition, the deluxe executive rooms are equipped with 17 inch flat-screen personal computers.
For the businessperson, the facilities include conference rooms, a business center and a shopping center. The post office, bank, hospital, bookstore and nightclub are just downstairs.
