"FANTASTIC!!! INCREDIBLE HOTEL!"
When you take a cruise on the Yangtze River around Chongqing, the most beautiful view you will have is of this hotel. It is built on a cliffside overlooking the river, very beautiful if you get a room with a view. The hotel style is ancient Chinese palace, with thoroughly modern interior and FIVE STAR QUALITY! This hotel is amazing. ONE WARNING! Certain rooms face the BACK ROCK CLIFF. For some reason, there are very LOUD HAMMERING A/C UNITS hung out the back of the hotel facing the cliff. So if you get one of these rooms, you will be listening to a friendly jackhammer sound 24 hours a day! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The hotel is great but MUST HAVE river view or nothing at all! Outside the hotel is a Starbucks and down some stairs there is a food street in traditional Chinese style decor, quite charming. I cannot praise it enough. Hotel also has own parking garage.
