Good morning Julia,

We were always met on time by our guide, who were very gracious and efficient. ALL the food was delicious!

Lhasa was our favorite trip, because the people there have retained their identity and are very spiritual and the area is so beautiful. The two of us did fine in the youth hostel setting in Lhasa, but we are not ordinary American tourists. Conditions were somewhat poor, but we felt that made the experience more organic, and it put us in touch with lots of backpackers and independent travelers. We also had more opportunity to visit with common people, who were very friendly and open.

What we are allowed to see is very beautiful. Thank you for all your help in carefully planning. We experienced no disappointment in visiting Tibet. We will never forget the faces and the kindness shown to us.

Best regards,

Hi Julia,

I hope you are all well. We had a wonderful day arranged by you and your company.

All of us were impressed with Tibet in many different ways. The history, scenery, economic development were all on massively impressive scale. We were struck by and friendliness of the all the people we met.

When we were there, we visited the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple Monastery, both located in the 3,700-meter-high red peak in the center of the Lhasa River Valley. They are both integrated buildings for administrative, religious and political affairs. Since the seventh century, the Potala Palace has been the Dalai Lama’s winter palace, and it represents the center of Tibetan Buddhism and every regime. The beautiful and delicate architecture, the florid decoration, and the beautiful natural landscapes around it make the historic and cultural Potala Palace even more charming.

Thank you all for making our time in China so memorable and enjoyable.

Good luck to you !
