- "3 Star Hotel with 4 Star Lobby"
- This hotel looks great and is a big tour group destination for Europeans. The hotel is a very nice hotel with business rooms and nice views, with a great location across from a Starbucks and other fast food and a movie theater, and a couple of blocks from one of the classic Chinese city squares, Tianfu Guang Chang with beautiful wide open space and shops, very convenient.
However as it is Spring, there was no AC turned on, in spite of promises it would 'come on at 7 pm'. So fortunately sleeping with the window open was sufficiently cool as the weather was not too hot on that given day.
Many so called 4 star hotels in China are very cheap with the air conditioning in spring or fall and with the heat likewise. Their thermostats are geared to just produce vented air, which if the room is very hot or cold just does not cut it.
Anyway nice hotel except for this common problem and of course outdoor pool closed as only open summer.
