According to luo Bo, the vice minister of Animal Regulation in the research centre, it is time for the panda cubs learn survival skills. Staff here will provide them with a lot of new toys and play with them sometimes to enrich their activities. In the National Zoo of Washington, The National Zoo of Malaysia and Guangzhou Chimelong Safari Park, three baby pandas that were born in 2015 use the same way to meet the Chinese lunar New Year.

The Research Center has 218 captive pandas. It is the world's largest artificial breeding population. There are 17 pregnancies and 26 panda cubs during the year 2015. Among them, 23 panda cubs live, which created a new history. Luo said, “The Research Center has launched friendly cooperation on giant panda breeding with global partners. In 2015, we helped the National Zoo in Washington, the National Zoo in Malaysia and Guangzhou Chimelong Safari Park to breed three baby pandas successfully through technology exportation."
