Most of the museums will set the limitation for the maximum daily number of visitors, please check the information from your travel agency or the museum website. Most of the museums in China usually close on Monday, please arrange your trip plan in advance. Food and drinks would be forbidden or brought in under inspection, please follow the instruction of the museum you visit. Usually photography is permitted but with no flash or tripod, please notice signs besides the collection. Many of the museums have been equipped with the audio guide, you could rent the equipment in your language. The gift shop and bookstore in museum is a good place to buy some unique souvenirs or exhibition-related books.
