Xiguan is a traditional geographical division of Guangzhou, China. Some people claimed it was initially built by Nanyue people. Xiguan was a commercial center in Ming and Qing Dynasty. Xiguan style building is a treasure of Guangzhou architecture and typical representative of vernacular dwellings in Xiguan. In old days they were used to be the residences of wealthy businessmen. The most favorite and valuable is Xiguan dawu area, it covers more than 3800m2 and preserves buildings completed at different period. Architecture style of Xiguan buildings is famous for its exquisite design. Furniture includes light, dressing table, potting all reflect Lingnan culture. Among them Xiaohuafangzhai is the most precious one and attracting thousands of tourists each year.
