Lanzhou Entertainment
Lanzhou is an ancient city with a history over 2000 years. It has generated various cultures and formed its unique entertainment style. You can appreciate the operas all over the country, such as Shaanxi Opera, Long-drama, Henna opera and Peking opera. It is worth mentioning that peace drum dance has been an indispensable performance on spring festival and other important days. In Lanzhou, there are many bars, cafes, KTV and entertainment centers on nearly every street, which supplies all kinds of entertainment service for tourists. Moreover, it is also a good choice to appreciate the night view of the city at Lanshan Park or watch the dancing and singing performance at Tibet bars.

China Silk Road Festival
It has been held once a year since 1992. During the festival time, a Duhuang tour will be organized which starts from Lanzhou, go west along the Qilian mountain, by way of Wuwei, Zhangye,Jiuquan and Jianyu Pass, and finaly get Dunhuang.
Ramadan is on lunar September in the Islamic calendar. During this month, people eat and drink before sunrise, and do not drink and eat until sunset. On these days, people take a shower, get dressed, go to the Temple and visit relatives.
Hui Adha is held 70 days after Eid al-Fitr， on December 10th in lunar Islamic calendar. The Muslims get dressed and go to the Temple on that day.

Lunar March 12 in the Islamic calendar is the day of the birth of Mohammed. Muslims commemorate the sage, extolled the virtues of Mohammed, and never forget his teachings.
Spring festival fire performance
During the Spring Festival, fire performances on Lanzhou streets are quite unique. Generally on the tenth day in the first lunar month, the government will organize the fire performance team to get together in downtown in different formations along the main street. People dance and drum, which is quite lively and spectacular.
