Jingdezhen Food
The most common flavor of local Jingdezhen food is spice. Many common-made dishes are dressed with red peppers. The food courts and vendors on the street are usually the best place for food. The most popular food court is located in Daijianong, which can be reached by bus No.18, No.20 and No.103.
Cold bean noddle (Lengfen)
The cold bean noddle is eaten with spicy sauce and other dressing like orange peel, soybean, scallion, ginger, garlic and soybean sauce. It is both simple to prepare and easy to eat. Just boil the bean noddle in the pot and mix all the ingredients together then you can enjoy this delicious cold dish.
Stuffed dumpling cake (Jiaoziba)
The stuffed dumpling cake is a typical Jingdezhen characteristic snack. It uses pulverized goose lake late rice to make the cover. The stuffing varies from the fragrant-flowered garlic bean curd, the sun-dried shelled shrimp, to the radish silk. The flavor is extremely good.
Lye cake (Jianshuiba)
The lye cake is a local flavor which is made by rice and soakedin soda water. It is commonly eaten with bacon, garlic, eggs and so on by stir-frying. It is also used in cooking fish soup and spare-rib soup.
