West Street in Yangshuo is very famous and is known for the night life. Bars are everywhere in this 500-meter-long street, here you will hear plenty of music, singing, and talking. If you head to West Street you are guaranteed to not get home until the early hours of the morning. However, there is more things to do that are just not in the night these activities are, rock climbing, bouldering, caving, rafting, and learning a language. All are the local entertainment in Yangshuo always attracts tourists and one is guaranteed to have a great time.

Bars

Many restaurants are situated in West Street and it is also the destination for many bars which majority of tourists’ go to in the evening. In addition, there are also a lot of different bars which makes it hard to visit them all within a month.
Rock Climbing
The unique topography of Yangshuo has made it a climber's paradise. Those who like adventurous activities will be glad to leave their footprint on the Yangshuo’s cliff.
Rafting
There are three sections in the Lijiang River which are extremely suitable for rafting, one is from Yang Dike to Xingping, one is from Xinping to Yangshuo and the last one is from Yangshuo to Puyi. In fact, it is not allowed to raft in the Lijiang River officially because of the large number of passenger lines which go from Guilin to Yangshuo but rafting is allowed closer to the city.
Caving
The most famous place for caving is Shuiyan Shuidong, which means a water-rock tunnel. It is located in southern Yangshuo and is 6 km away from the Moon Mountain. The total length of the tunnel is 6 km and it is the largest karst underground cave in Yangshuo. Inside the cave, tourists can enjoy boating, swimming, wading, or even indulge in a mud bath.
Language Learning
There is a very strange phenomenon in the West Street of Yangshuo, almost everyone can speak English and English is the most used language here. There are a lot of tourists here therefore West Street is also given the name of "Foreigner Street". It is the perfect area to learn English as the foreigners who live here understands the art of doing business. Also some of the foreigners are the ones who developed the English language schools in the area.

Yangshuo Sheri
Time: Lunar February and August
Introduction: This festival is usually celebrated in villages and towns of Yangshuo to sacrifice the Bodhisattva which has more than a thousand of year’s history. Out of all the festivals, Yangshuo Sheri is the most popular among the local people.
Ox King Day
Time: Lunar April 8

Introduction: This festival which is celebrated is mainly in the counties around the countryside. Derived from the folklore, Lunar April 8 is the birthday of the ox king. This festival is celebrated by treasuring the cattle for their help in the fields. Some farmers brush dirt and lice from the cattle, some pick the tender grass for their cattle and some even boil liqueur eggs or buy fried crust to feed their cattle.
