Proceed to visit the Black Dragon Pond with Dongba Culture Museum, Yuhu Naxi Minority’s Village, a local market and the Lijiang Ancient Town.
A gathering place of the Naxi minority, Lijiang Ancient Town is a mountain town of stone and tile, laced with canals and lanes, which has been listed as an UNESCO world monument. Unlike most of the old towns in China, there is no city wall due to a superstitious belief of the local ruler whose family name is Mu (tree), when encircled by walls, would be Kun (besieged). You will also climb up the Lion Hill for a bird’s eye view of the old town.

Drive to the Lashi Lake & Wetland (boating included), which is not only the primary water supply to a large downstream population, but also the habitat for 198 bird species, 77 of which are migratory shorebirds inclusive of the endangered black-necked crane. 
Then visit the Baisha Frescos, Yufeng Monastery and Shuhe Old Town. The town is set to regain its past prosperity with the launch of a new protection program. It is an ancient trade post for tea caravans between China and the Red Sea. It is also the former city center of Lijiang and has a history of more than 1000 years.

Full day on your own account to relax and explore in the city.
Option: Half day cycling tour.
-- 08:30-09:00  Start off from hotel, walk for 15 minutes to the bicycle rental area.
-- 09:00-11:30  Under sunshine, you will start the 2.5-hr’s cycling tour along a typical country road lined with crops, sun flowers or rape flowers, etc., which make the air scented . You will also stop at one or two villages on the way to learn the locals’ life.
-- 11:30-12:00  Ride back to return your bicycle. End of the half day cycling tour.

Activities:

Drive 200  KM northern to Shangri-la, 4.5 hours.
Stop on the way for a dramatic view of the Yangzi's near-180-degree turn. Then is the Tiger Leaping Gorge. The Jade Dragon Snow Mountains and the Haba Snow Mountains lean close to each other and a large volume of torrent moving between them cutting deeper and deeper into the bottom of the gorge. Upon arrival, drive to the ancient town of Shangri-la with rest of the day at leisure for your own exploration.

Visit Geden Songzanglin Monastery, the one with 700 monks and one living Buddha, founded in the 17th century during the reign of the Fifth Dalai Lama and is nicknamed by local the Lesser Potala Palace. Half day tour to Pudacuo National Park with virgin forests of spruce, pine and meadow dotted with wild flowers and tranquil lakes. After back to the town, visit a Tibetan family.
