2Itinerary
- Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby at 8:30AM to 09:00AM. The Rice Terraces of Guilin are an essential symbol of China and one of the most celebrated landscapes in the world. After 2 hours driving, you will arrive at Longsheng County.
- On this tour you will see the famous Dragon Backbone Rice Terraces. It is called because the irrigated hillsides resemble the scaly back of a dragon. Here local farmers still labor according to traditional agricultural techniques and in tune with the rhythms of nature. As you immerse yourself in the dreamy, tranquil atmosphere of the sloped rice cultures, you will forget the stress and worries of urban life!
- You will have lunch at local farmer restaurant at Long Sheng.
- After lunch, our next stop is Ping’an Minority Village. China is home to many ethnic minorities who often choose to maintain their old traditions and customs. In Ping’an Village, where people have been living in the same way for centuries, you will experience the feeling of travelling back through time! (Today's sightseeings are around for 3 hours)
- On the way back, we will take a stop at a traditional Chinese shopping store, and you could buy some souvenirs. (About 40 minutes) After today’s sightseeing, our tour bus will send you back to your hotel lobby around 5:00PM.

- Two of us plan to visit Guilin in early March 2014. Please advise whether this is a good season to visit Longji Rice Terraces and the sorrounding attractions. Thank you
