The evaluation result of the airports in major cities shows that among all the large-scale airports whose annual passenger throughput exceeded 30 millions, Chengdu Shuangliu airport scored the highest and ranked first in the reputation list; Shanghai Pudong airport is the lowest for the bad and inconvenience service.
According to the results, scores from low to high followed: Chengdu Shuangliu airport, Guangzhou Baiyun airport, Beijing Capital airport, Shanghai Hongqiao airport, Shenzhen Baoan airport and Shanghai Pudong airport.
The feedback from netizen showed that difficulty in taking a taxi is the common fault of all the domestic large-scale airports. Besides, they have their respective conspicuous service problems.
For example, the control of luggages in Beijing Capital airport is unsatisfactory, and always keeps travelers waiting for a long time; Shanghai Pudong is complained for its poor service and bad attitude; it takes too much time to wait for taxis at night in Shanghai Hongqiao airport; the design of the long narrow hall in Chengdu Shuangliu airport is irrational and there is few automatic tickets equipments than it should be; the architectural style of Shenzhen Baoan new terminal makes travelers uncomfortable; Guangzhou Baiyun airport is criticized for its disordered layout and unclear instructions.
The survey shows that the main core competitiveness of airports is the ability and level of customer service. They need to set standard, seek gaps and continue to optimize the service system and progress to better serve customers and improve the satisfaction of air service.
