Generally we were very pleased during the trip and very happy having chosen China Travel Depot. My mum is a very difficult person, but she's also very satisfied and wants to do it again in 2 years time.
We really enjoyed the lunch that we had in Beijing. The atmosphere was great with the restaurant full of locals. There was even a babychair (highchair) for Kieran. We especially enjoyed the live traditional music. All of the food was delicious, of a very high quality. Service at both restaurants was great.
Our guide was a great person. Very knowledgeable - history, culture, …. His English language skills were excellent. He was able to share much about life in China with us and we with him. He seemed genuinely interested in our life in America too. This made for a very pleasant time together. When Alex learned of my desire for “l(fā)ocal food” he took us to a wonderful “organ meat” shop in the Hutong area. It was great!!! Alex also had a keen sense of how to avoid crowds. We love him!
China Travel Depot is an excellent company whose attention to detail is exemplary and who spare no effort to ensure the safety and comfort of their customers. I would highly recommend them for any visitors to China. My family and I had the best time under their care... I would definitely use China Travel Depot again in the future!
