The slow pace of life in Stanley made we jealous, especially when we left from the downtown. Various open type bars and the bar stools placed at the entrance. Numerous foreigners, just like I'm taking a trip to Europe, soon I joined them with a bottle of beer in my hand, the sea is just in front of us. All the things here are of European style, including the famous THE BOATHOUSE, the street is not so long but the numbers of limousines are uncountable: Lamborghini, Audi R8 and Ferrari...am I in Los Angles?

Only on the Victoria Peak can one really enjoy the whole scenery of HongKong, we standing there like someone hold our breath cuz what we saw is more than our ability of describing, under the background of millions of lights the HongKong Island and Kowloon look like two pearls decorating the Victoria Harbor and enlightening each other. I am not a romantic man, at least my wife told me so. But the sight we see is really shocking and I could speak nothing and the only thing I can do is to hold my wife's hands. I know exactly why HongKong is always be praised as the Pearl of the Orient.

The scenery of Repulse Bay could be a good help for me to understand why the pregnant women are rushing to HongKong to have their babies born. Because this place is brilliant! Well, the beauty of the Repulse Bay may be the beauty of wealth, the right to buy the houses there and to enjoy the scenery. The sand of this bay are all delivered from other seashores. This place is called the "Oriental Hawaii", I guess my salary of the entire life could not afford a house here, it is said that the richest man has one of his own here, I wonder which one is. Anyway, our guide also introduced us something about the geomancy theories, he said the location here is the best in HongKong, according to the theory.

Jumbo Floating Restaurant is truly a famous place, we heard from our friends in HongKong before. It is not easy for a restaurant, oh no, it is actually a huge vessel on the water, believe me, you won't be disappointed, just like us. We came here at sunset, the lights were all on, this vessel seems like a palace, belong to emperors or something, there is even an emperor's chair on it. We can not count how many pictures we took on that. The seafood is awesome, totally worth the money. This vessel prevails other ones nearby, we heard from the tour guide that Stephen Chow finished his film the god of cook here, oh, maybe we came late.

Not usual leisure time but the life pace of this area is much slower than other places in HongKong! The shop owners are not as aggressive as the ones in Kowloon but the price will not decrease so much, thanks to our tour guide, he really taught me some tips to bargain with the people. You know in China, bargain is really a form of art. An artist-a real artist, not just in bargaining-also offered help to let me know the best choices. The silk products are pretty awesome, they are both cheap and beautiful, we finish our tour with a footbath in tradition Chinese way, totally perfect.

It's not easy to walk all the way to finish the sightseeing in Bird Market with the market of fishes and flowers are all nearby, you know, you always want to see them all, but we finish it! With our 4 year old son! Yeah! You'd better arrive here after noon, about 1:00 p.m., all the shops are just opened, the old men with the birdcage in their hands will add the charm of this place. Lots of kinds of bird there, very interesting, my son can hardly move his little legs. The sounds of the birds and the neat environment left us beautiful memories, I really wanna by a cage but there's no space left in our luggage.

Hello Julia,
Our guide was excellent and well-informed. He knew the subject well and was pleasant and polite. He checked our meal requirements and tailored the meal to suit our needs. He also coped well with minor changes such as my wife and I choosing to take different paths down the mountain. His English was good and I am sure will get even better as he always noted when we checked on a point for understanding.

You are more than welcome to publish my name and details and I am more than happy to recommend you in person. I have had communication with at least half a dozen people in the past who have asked for a personal recommendation and it has always been given freely. I also promote your site whenever I talk on China and in my printed works.

Sincerely,
James Morris, U.S.A

Hello James,
We were extremely happy with the tour that you arranged for us in China, it was certainly one of the best holidays that we have had! All of the arrangements were great and all of the guides were very helpful. I appreciate the attention that was made to practically every detail of my trip. Everything went very smoothly and well organized. The drivers were polite and very nice.

All in all, your helpful and knowledgeable staff made our tirp to China very successful. We now had a wonderful experience to remember.

All the best,

Dear Tom,

Many thanks for a very memorable tour. My compliments for your suggestions and the overall results. Our guide was great and we enjoyed his company and talking to him. We were able to understand him well. He was exceptionally good with English. His knowledge was also excellent.

The meal was great. Excellent restaurant and dishes selection by our guide, he asked us what we would like to eat before to order and she gives us some advices.

The driver was very good and went above and beyond his regular duty to make us comfortable. He was very good in providing the right information and quick responses to our own queries, which is always important to reassure visitors that they are being taken well care of.

All in all, we give five stars to the China Travel Depot team. We highly recommend China Travel Depot, a great value!!

Best Regards,

Dear Tom,
I'll be happy to give comments about my little trip to Hong Kong. First about my pre-tour service: I was very pleased and impressed by how professionally and quickly all my questions and concerns were handled, even with the high level of uncertainty my trip had. Thanks a lot.
About the food, the restaurant I was taken to was clean and nice, the food was Ok as well, but it was "europeanized" Chinese dishes, maybe for a lot of people that's convenient but I would have loved something more local people's style.

We enjoyed the quintessential Hong Kong experiences of endless shopping, big-city nightlife and delicious dim sum, but our guides told us to save time for other activities. Yes, this tour seemed short. Over all we really enjoyed every single day of our trip and we would definitely recommend China Travel Depot to all of our friends and to anybody planning a trip to China.
